About Luke
My mission is to help people live content and fulfilling lives with their dogs through education and positive, science-based training.
My journey into the dog training industry began in 2018, when I found myself seeking a more meaningful career. Volunteering at the RSPCA reignited a lifelong connection with dogs, but it was back in 2014—when I brought home an energetic 8-month-old Border Collie—that my passion for training truly took hold.
After years of trying to figure out where I fit in the world, I had a sudden realization: I wanted to become a dog trainer. I wanted to understand our canine companions on a deeper level—and just as importantly, help others understand them too.
In 2019, I began studying with the Delta Institute, where I learned how to train using modern, positive reinforcement methods without the use of aversives. Their approach aligned perfectly with my values and set the foundation for how I work with both dogs and their people today.
My Training Philosophy
My philosophy is simple: I’m committed to using positive, ethical, and evidence-based training methods to build better communication and stronger bonds between people and their dogs.
